Your DGB for today is to work on electing a democratic senator in Arizona.
Back in October of last year, Jeff Flake announced he would not be running for reelection in 2018. Don’t let the door hit ya, Jeff.
Although the primaries aren’t until August, it’s looking like the general election race will be former state senator and Trump ally Kelli Ward (R) against Rep. Krysten Sinema (D-AZ-9). By all accounts, November 6th will be a closely-watched race with a real chance of flipping blue. Ward is, well, batshit crazy, as evidenced by support from Steve Bannon and Alex Jones. She’s Roy Moore-ish and we all know how that turned out.
