Your DGB for this weekend is to work to elect Arizona democrats to the House of Representatives.
Of the five seats up for reelection this November, Arizona 6 and 8 are likely to remain under Republican control. Arizona 9 will safely stay blue, despite current seat holder Kyrsten Sinema retiring from her position to pursue a Senate bid, which DGB previously covered here: https://www.dailygrabback.com/todays-grab-1/2018/3/9/jeff-flakes-senate-seat
Arizona 1 and 2, however, need some attention. In District 1, incumbent Tom O’Halleran could use a boost, which you can do here: http://www.tomohalleran.com/
In Arizona 2, Republican Martha McSally is retiring in order to compete with Joe Arpaio for the chance to face Kyrsten Sinema in the Senate general election. This leaves a House seat with a good chance of flipping blue. Candidates to watch and/or support include Matt Heinz and Ann Kirkpatrick.
Both parties’ primaries take place on August 28th.
