Agent Orange

Blue Water Navy Veterans

Your DGB for today is to register your support for the Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veterans Act of 2017.

Remember Agent Orange? Yeah, it’s still torturing and killing Vietnam veterans. If you’re too young to remember, Agent Orange was widely used by the United States government in herbicidal warfare in Operation Ranch Hand, affecting - at the very least - Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos. Many veterans have received benefits and compensation from Veterans Affairs for their cancers and other illnesses. Others, however, have had their claims denied because they were based outside the recognized geography of exposure. This bill would expand those areas to include Vietnam’s territorial seas, allowing many Navy vets to receive the treatment and compensation they deserve for their service to our country.

You’ll use Countable or Resistbot to let your reps know that you support the continued care of all veterans.
